New Movie Poster: Star Trek Into Darkness One Sheet

We did a list of the Best Star Trek films ever made a few years ago. I did not participate in this list, for a reason. The upcoming sequel in the new Star Trek saga is set to release on May 17th of next year. Now, we get our first look at the new movie poster for the film. The film is titled Star Trek Into Darkness and the cast and crew will return, with Chris Pine in the lead as Captain Kirk. Spock and the others will presumably be back as well. In truth, I am not a Star Trek fan at all. I haven’t seen the most recent entry into the film series and haven’t seen any of the films ever made that I can remember. I watched Trek a little as a kid, but thats about as far as I can recall. So, years of non-interest have removed me from the equation. Nevertheless, have a look at the relatively cool looking new teaser poster. I think its done well, for what its worth. Enjoy.

New One Sheets Have Arrived As Ang Lee’s ‘Life Of Pi’ Movie Posters Vary

Director Ang Lee (Hulk, Brokeback Mountain) is venturing into new territory with the upcoming Life Of Pi. The film is based on the 2001 fantasy adventure novel with early reviews being mixed but generally strong. The trailer suggests a challenging movie to make with dazzling visuals. The movie posters, most of which we have displayed below, use some of the similar imagery but to varied effects on different one sheets. I wonder if the film will be a part of your movie weekend on November 21st. We shall see soon enough, I suppose. The plot, which is potentially muddled but still exciting, you probably all know too well by now.

James Mangold’s ‘The Wolverine’ Movie Poster Debuts

It appears that James Mangold’s upcoming Hugh Jackman film The Wolverine has a movie poster which has been leaked. The culprit is an Instagram iPhone pic snapped from James Mangold’s office apparently. While there has been no official confirmation that this is an official poster, it certainly appears that way.

The Wolverine is essentially a sequel to X-Men Origins: Wolverine film, which was met with modest success, but apparently enough to get a franchise started. This is of little surprise, considering Hollywood puts out anything with superpowers or a hero suit these days. For what it’s worth, the poster hints at the Japan setting for the film, with the red circle being sliced through by Wolverine claws.
