With a cast that already includes Michael C. Hall (TV’s “Dexter”) and Ben Schwartz, the indie film Peep World is looking to add two more comedic talents to the mix with Sarah Silverman and Rainn Wilson. The Hollywood Reporter tells us about the ensemble comedy:
…which revolves around a group of adult siblings who squabble after one of them describes thinly veiled versions of the family in his novel.
This territory has been covered numerous times before on film, but I guess it has enough legs for yet another stab. Wilson saw his last attempt at comedy flop hard at the box office with last year’s The Rocker and Silverman is better known as the foul-mouthed on again, off again lover of talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. Combined maybe they can concoct an unusual mix for the independent film. Hall is a solid actor, though his comedic chops seem to be more on the dark side with HBO’s “Six Feet Under” being his prior most well-known role. I know nothing of Schwartz as I can’t seay that I have ever even heard of him. Enlighten me with your thoughts on the possibilities of this pic.
