We've met a lot of writers who use Evernote to plan, brainstorm (and sometimes even draft) their novels, so we are proud to be a corporate sponsor of NaNoWriMo for the fourth consecutive year. But as any fiction writer knows, the hardest part of any new work is figuring out what to write about in the first place: What happens next? What motivates these characters? What's this story about, anyway?
Identify who is responsible for each step and who will be supporting them. Support people are not responsible for the outcome of an step, but they assist in the process. Provide a clear schedule for completing steps. Your final goal may be a short_term project or take years to complete. It's important to break down the timeline for each step along the way.List the resources necessary for accomplishing steps. If sufficient resources are not currently available, include a plan for their acquisition.
