Steven Speilberg’s Abraham Lincoln film Lincoln is due to drop in theaters in November. While, we know who has been cast in the film, there has yet to be a trailer or much promotional material released about the film just yet, which is surprising given the man helming the film. Well, that dry spell has changed immediately, with the release of the movie poster for the film, which features actor Daniel Day-Lewis looking scarily immersed in the role of our nation’s 5th and one it’s clearly most beloved President’s.

You know DDL will nail the role, that is a given considering his other immersive performances in a historically relevant career. What we don’t know is what Spielberg will do with the material given his blockbuster record and somewhat shaky recent film history. I guess we’ll find out soon enough, but for now, we get the one sheet for Lincoln to chew on. Enjoy.
