Sam Mendes Debuts His First Video Blog for the Next Bond Movie Skyfall
Director Sam Mendes of Road to Perdition and American Beauty fame is directing the 23rd James Bond film titled Skyfall. GOD has info on the film’s premise if you don’t know. He just posted his first video blog for the movie on the site 007.com. This is the first in what is purported to be a running series of video blogs featuring behind the scenes footage, the shooting process, star interviews and such…in theory at least.
The first entry is posted below and really doesn’t reveal too much about the film or the process. It rather comes off as EPK material one might expect to see as a DVD or Blu-ray Disc extra upon a film’s video release. Of note, he mentions his reasons for doing the film and that it is his first time shooting in his native land. See it for yourself to see if you can glean more from it.
