Watch the original ‘Paranormal Activity’ ending (Video)

So, it’s natural to be talking about Paranormal Activity these days.  It sits atop the box office and has become almost a cultural phenomenon of the moment.  The much ballyhooed spook-joint has been written about and talked about ad nauseum lately. There have even been talks of a sequel.  I am tired of writing about it, but I am compelled to pass along this video footage (via R.O.S.) which is rumored to have been released by Paramount to continue to drum up interest in the fright flick.  True or not, I see a big box office night coming up this weekend on Halloween.

This ending to “Paranormal” is supposedly the original ending to the film that was created by director Oren Peli (who tackles Area 51 next) and then shown to film executives including one Steven Spielberg.  Spielberg then suggested a new ending to the movie, which is the one that you (not I) have seen in theaters.  The theatrical ending is supposed to be scarier than this one.  For those that have seen the movie, you be the judge and let us know what you think.  I’ll just go ahead and suggest that in the comments section, it is reader beware as there may be spoilers involved in the discussion.  Just a PSA, hunch.
