According to “The Hollywood Reporter,” Olivia Wilde and Jonathan Tucker will be added to the new Paul Haggis film, The Next Three Days.

THR says, “Wilde will play a young mother who befriends the husband; Tucker will play a street tough running a meth lab.”  Wilde’s previous work has been the recent Year One and her recurring role in the hit show, “House M. D.” Tucker has been in last year’s The Ruins and worked with Haggis on In the Valley of Elah.  They will join a cast that already includes Russell Crowe, Elizabeth Banks, Brian Dennehy and RZA. THR added “Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks topline the movie, which revolves around a woman imprisoned for a murder she claims she didn’t commit and her husband who tries to vindicate her.”  Shooting will begin in Pittsburgh this week.

The Next Three Days should be good considering it’s written and directed by Paul Haggis.  Crash was amazing and I have heard good things about In the Valley of Elah.  Yes, Olivia Wilde is amazingly hot, but she’s actually a good actress and adding her to this film will definitely continue her steady climb up. Tucker should also be a good addition considering he previously worked with Haggis on In the Valley of Elah.
