Movie Poster Round-Up (June 13-19)

It’s Friday, so the world famous Movie Poster Round-Up is back for another go ’round.  Tons of posters in this update which might be our biggest haul yet.  This is a week of character posters for G.I. Joe apparently as we add 5 new posters for the film below for you.  In addition to that we give you 2 more Harry Potter & The Half-Blood Prince of which there were even more, but if you have been following our weekly round-up throughout the last few months, we have reached overkill with those as we are I am sure 20 deep on them.  Enough is enough.  We also give you two water themed posters, one for Spread and the other for The Cove.

Michelle Monaghan (where have you been?) appears in Trucker which is followed by an international poster for Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds.  And in an ode to “Mad-libs,” a couple of Cold Souls (click for new trailer) attempt a Perfect Getaway before Love Happens (click here for new trailer) for Jennifer Aniston and Aaron Eckhart (internationally) Beyond A Reasonable Doubt. We have trailers for most of these films as well, if you care.  Thanks to IMP Awards for the drops.  Don’t ask me why I am including the Vanessa Hudgens Bandslam poster #2 (she doesn’t even headline the film), but the two Law Abiding Citizen ones are up again in case you missed our earlier post with updates on the movie.  The Patton Oswalt led Big Fan is followed by new poster versions for Year One (which one of our writers skipped a screening to but I won’t name names), Astro Boy (Chinese) and a wild new Pandorum one sheet.  Check the mouths coming out of her head!

Ryan Reynolds leads the way in Paper Man, which opened up the LAFF last night, Robin Williams is the World’s Greatest Dad (click for trailer we premiered today), and Miguel Sarah, err…Michael Cera’s Youth In Revolt (click for review from a few months back).  And because I said it was character poster week, I give you two of them from one of our Most Anticipated Films of the Year, Sherlock Holmes (click here for Preview).  IMO, Watson looks more in character than Holmes here, but I feel this is gonna be a good one!  See you next Friday for more Movie Posters, and remember you can use the RSS button to subscribe to this feed if you like!

  1. Prodigal Son says:

The Watson poster is pretty dope and I like the ‘Youth in Revolt’ poster better than I did the movie.
