I have to say, this is pretty darn tight. Mash-ups have practically overtaken the music industry even since DJ Danger Mouse released “The Grey Ablum,” which was a combination of Jay-Z’s ‘The Black Album” vocals over The Beatles’ “The White Album” instrumentals. Instantly, a revolution was born. Well, that process has now been ported over to the movie world in the art of trailer mash-ups. I know these have been around for a bit, but I’ve never seen anything all that awesome, until I saw this. This trailer combines visuals from Wall-E in a Watchmen-style trailer.
I think it does a great job matching images and was stunned that Wall-E would contain everything needed to create this exceptional melding of two very different films.
